Job summary

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) is recruiting for Social Care Assistants to join our team in Grangemockler. This permanent, full-time role offers a structured environment within a leading national organisation that supports adults with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Hold a QQI Level 5 Major Award on the QQI Framework (BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent).
• Have 1 year's experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to social care within disability services.
• Ability to follow plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of the individuals supported.
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• A full driver's licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates Residential and Day Services across 15 locations, in which residents and day-attendees are supported to live an ordinary life, a life like any other. We are currently recruiting for Social Care Assistants to join our team in Grangemockler.

What you will need

• Hold a minimum of a QQI Level 5 Major Award on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Community/Heath or Social Care.
