Fruition Group Ireland is partnering with a Dublin-based client to recruit a Security Engineer / SOC Engineer (Level 3) for a Dublin-based daily rate contract. The initial 6-month assignment offers strong potential for extensions within a large-scale environment.

You will support the engineering, automation and ongoing enhancement of enterprise cyber security platforms, across cloud and on-prem environments, with a focus on Azure, Sentinel/ Defender XDR, and automation through CI/CD and IaC.

Competenze

• Minimum 3+ years in security engineering or DevSecOps.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and security/identity features.
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, Terraform, and IaC.
• Proficient in scripting with PowerShell or Python and API integrations.
• Experience designing automation within security/governance controls.
• Knowledge of Azure identity, RBAC, Key Vault, networking and monitoring.
• Experience with Sentinel/Defender/XDR and KQL for detection engineering.

Mansioni

• Engineer and improve security monitoring, detection and response across cloud and on-prem.
• Develop automated deployment via CI/CD and IaC with testing and controls.
• Configure Microsoft security tech: Sentinel and Defender/XDR; tune rules and telemetry.
• Build automation for security operations, governance, and evidence collection.
• Develop dashboards and reporting for security operations and risk.
• Support transitions of new security capabilities into production with docs.
• Collaborate with security, architecture, risk and delivery stakeholders.
