Job summary

Arista Networks is seeking a versatile EngProd engineer to maintain and scale our hybrid-cloud infrastructure. You will build, deploy and operate secure production systems, collaborating with product teams to streamline workflows and reduce toil.

You will work with Go, Python and shell scripting, plus tools like Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Gerrit and Jenkins to automate and secure large-scale environments. A strong focus on reliability and observability is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in software/infra automation environments.
• Experience with CI/CD automation and system provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy and operate critical production systems with focus on scalability and security.
• Develop automation to reduce toil and improve alerting and incident response.
• Create incident runbooks and postmortems to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate maintenance windows with vendors for production systems.
• Collaborate with product teams to remove infrastructural bottlenecks and improve developer experience.
• Study OSS practices to keep systems secure and fault-tolerant.
