Job summary

Pivotal Recruitment Limited is assisting with the recruitment of a Site Manager for a landmark development in Co. Kildare. The successful candidate will lead day-to-day site operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, programme, and quality targets are met.

We are seeking professionals with 5+ years’ experience with a main contractor and a proven track record delivering €10m+ projects. Strong leadership and Irish health & safety knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Site Manager with a Main Contractor in Ireland or the UK.
• Proven track record delivering €10m+ construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent understanding of Irish Health & Safety regulations and quality management systems.
• Experience on education, commercial, healthcare or large residential projects desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, direct labour and site personnel.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, RAMS and site inductions.
• Monitor construction progress against programme, identifying and resolving any delays.
• Maintain quality assurance standards through inspections, ITPs and QA documentation.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyor and design team to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Coordinate logistics, deliveries, welfare facilities and site housekeeping.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily diaries and progress reports.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, statutory authorities and stakeholders throughout the project.
• Promote a positive safety culture and maintain exceptional site standards.
