Job summary

Clancy is recruiting a Site Manager to join our team in Cork, Ireland. You will lead all on-site activities with a focus on safety, quality and timely delivery of a multi-discipline construction project.

The role requires 3–5 years’ experience with a main or specialist contractor, strong communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented approach. You will coordinate project activities in line with Clancy Quality System and collaborate with subcontractors and client representatives.

Qualifications

  • Trade background or formal qualification in Construction Management.
  • 3–5 years' experience with main or specialist contractor.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player able to build relationships at all levels.
  • Knowledge of Safety and Quality management.
  • Computer literate with MS Office.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

  • Drive and embed a safety culture across the site.
  • Deliver project successfully through leadership and technical know-how.
  • Lead all site management duties across project team.
  • Coordinate activities per Clancy Quality System.
  • Plan, organize, and direct construction activities for optimum outcomes.
  • Meet objectives in delivery, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Embed right-first-time philosophy on the project.
  • Manage daily on-site operations.
  • Communicate with colleagues, subcontractors, and stakeholders to promote success.
