Job summary

Hunter Philips Ltd. is seeking a Site Manager to oversee construction on a 110kV substation project in Northern Ireland, starting November/December 2026. This contract role supports a busy T&D portfolio across Ireland.

You will coordinate electrical installations, manage subcontractors and site personnel, monitor progress, ensure RAMS, HSE compliance and quality records, and liaise with clients to deliver safe, on-time handover.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager or Site Supervisor on HV projects.
• Experience managing electrical subcontractors and site teams.
• Familiar with RAMS, quality inspections and HSE compliance.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and recognised site management certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities on a 110kV substation project, ensuring works are delivered safely and on programme.
• Coordinate electrical installation activities, subcontractors, site personnel and specialist contractors.
• Monitor construction progress, identify delays and escalate issues to the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with RAMS, quality standards and site procedures, and maintain documentation.
• Manage site documentation, progress reports, inspections and quality records.
• Liaise with client representatives, subcontractors and project stakeholders to maintain site coordination.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities as the project progresses.
