Job summary

Aureol Global Connections is seeking a Site Manager to oversee construction sites in County Dublin from commencement to completion. You will plan, coordinate and supervise site personnel, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to budget and project specs.

You will read drawings, conduct site inspections, enforce safety standards and environmental requirements, and liaise with clients and authorities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction.
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical specs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and building codes.
• Full, valid driving licence.

Job description

Manage the daily operations of construction sites from commencement through to project completion.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.

Monitor progress against the construction programme and resolve any delays or site issues.

Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project standards.

Enforce health and safety legislation, company policies, and site procedures.

Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.

Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials, plant, and equipment.

Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and local authorities as required.

Prepare and maintain site records, progress reports, and daily site diaries.

Identify and resolve technical, operational, and contractual issues.

Ensure works comply with building regulations, planning conditions, and environmental requirements.

Support project handovers and ensure all snagging items are completed.

Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.

Competent in Microsoft Office and construction management software.

Fluent in spoken and written English.

Full, valid driving licence.
