Job summary

Turmec is seeking a mechanical site supervisor to join our installation team delivering projects across the UK, Ireland and international markets. You will supervise on-site activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure health and safety compliance.

The role offers a permanent, full-time contract, with a competitive rate based on experience, and benefits including pension, health insurance and 21 days annual leave. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Safety focused on site operations and compliance.
• Experience supervising on large-scale mechanical installations.
• Strong English communication, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and specifications.
• Overseeing day-to-day site operations and interface with OEM suppliers.
• Maintain site documentation and liaise with subcontractors.
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed and documented.
• Manage weekly timesheets and coordinate with payroll.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to deliver installations on time and within budget.
• Oversee plant and equipment on site and attend client meetings.
