Qualifications

• Minimum up to 3 years’ experience within the HR function.
• Knowledge of current employment law.
• IT Literate in Microsoft Office
• Exposure to a unionised environment is desirable.
• Good verbal and written presentation/communication skills.
• Evidence of professional aplomb when representing the company in front of auditors or visitors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare job descriptions, advertisement and monitor effectiveness of campaigns.
• Shortlisting and organising interviews/assessments.
• Take references, dispatch offers and issue terms of employment.
• Design induction and onboarding programmes.
• Coach managers in HR practices.
• Identify training needs and design bespoke programmes.
• Oversee in-house apprenticeship programmes.
• Provide ER advice on employment legislation and industrial relations issues.
• Support performance management and salary review processes.
• Maintain HR records and update systems; analyse KPI data.
• Lead CSR initiatives and manage HR-related admin duties.
