Job summary

Clancy is hiring a Site Engineer for the Gorey, Co. Wexford area. The role focuses on the engineering function on site with emphasis on setting out and achieving correct levels, while liaising with consultants, subcontractors and the workforce to ensure information accuracy.

Candidates should hold an Engineering Degree (or equivalent) and have a minimum of three years’ experience, with strong problem-solving and communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills – oral and written.
• Team player with ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall engineering function on site with emphasis on setting out and correct level implementation.
• Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors and workforce to promote information accuracy.
• Reviewing detailed design and communicating with designers to ensure adequate construction information.
• Coordinate development of design from designer's details to workshop drawings and information from subcontractors.
• Reading and interpreting drawings for layouts and materials.
