Job summary
Sigmar Recruitment is partnering with a Civil Engineering company to recruit Site Engineers for major on-site civil works in Clare. You will oversee construction activities, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to high quality standards, while collaborating with PMs, contractors and stakeholders to drive successful project execution. The role requires relevant civil engineering qualifications and strong site performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Proven Site Engineer experience in civil works.
Solid knowledge of civil construction methods and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.
Proficiency with construction management software and MS Office.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driving license and willingness to travel between sites.
Responsibilities
Report to the Site Manager/Project Manager and perform duties as agreed.
Ensure works on site meet specifications or other acceptable standards.
Accurate setting out of the site and all structures per programme with no delays.
Ensure dimensional accuracy is achieved on all aspects of the project.
Ensure quality of works is in accordance with specifications.
Record and maintain records for all works.
Ensure resources are available in good time.
Health and safety management implementation.
