Job summary

ProSource Group is seeking a Site Engineer for a project in Longford. The role focuses on surveying and setting out, with close coordination with design teams and site stakeholders to ensure accurate construction activities.

You will review drawings, control revisions, and supervise site personnel while maintaining thorough records and supporting risk assessments and method statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in a site-based engineering role.
• Proficiency in setting-out instruments (GPS, Total Station).

Responsibilities

• Surveying and setting out using Total Station and GPS.
• Reviewing drawings and controlling revisions from design team.
• Procurement of plant and materials on site.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications for construction activities.
• Ensure materials and workmanship meet standards.
• Liaise with design team, client reps, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Maintain records of site activities, tests and inspections.
• Assist in method statements, risk assessments, and technical reports.
• Supervise site personnel on a day-to-day basis.
