Job summary

INFORM3 Recruitment is seeking a Civil Engineer for a major energy infrastructure project based in Wicklow. The role involves coordinating on-site civil works, monitoring progress and ensuring quality and safety standards across the project.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree with site-based experience in construction or infrastructure, and can interpret drawings, liaise with teams, and drive delivery with a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Previous experience in a Civil Engineer role within construction or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and site operations.
• Experience with utilities, substations or energy infrastructure would be advantageous.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach to site delivery, quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor day-to-day civil engineering works on site.
• Ensure construction activities are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Assist with setting out, levels, measurements and site inspections.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, site teams, subcontractors and design teams.
• Monitor progress against the construction programme.
• Review technical drawings and assist in resolving engineering queries.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and project standards.
