Job summary

Tetra Tech Europe seeks a Senior Resident Engineer (Civil) to join our water infrastructure delivery across Ireland. The role is site-based within the delivery team, focusing on safety, quality, and contract compliance on major water projects.

You will monitor construction activity, coordinate with contractors and client teams, manage reporting, and ensure programmes align with milestones. A Level 8 Civil Engineering degree and 10 years’ experience are expected, with Safepass/Managing Safely

Qualifications

• Level 8 Civil Engineering degree (or similar) is required.
• At least ten years’ relevant post-graduate experience, including site supervision.
• Experience in the water sector preferred; driving licence required.
• Desirable certifications: Safepass, Managing Safely in Construction and Manual Handling.

Responsibilities

• Site-based delivery oversight across water infrastructure projects.
• Monitor progress, quality, safety and contract compliance on live sites.
• Produce site reports, minutes and progress updates for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with contractors, client teams and multidisciplinary groups.
