Job summary

Tetra Tech Europe is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer (Civil) to be site-based and embedded within the delivery team on water infrastructure projects across Ireland. You will ensure works are delivered safely, to the required standard and in line with contract requirements, while maintaining oversight of contractor activity on live sites.

You will work closely with contractors, client representatives and multidisciplinary teams, focusing on quality, programme, compliance and practical issue

Qualifications

• A Level 8 degree in Civil Engineering is required for this role.
• At least ten years’ relevant post‑graduate experience including site supervision and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide site delivery oversight for complex water infrastructure projects across Ireland.
• Monitor safety, quality, programme and contract requirements on live sites.
• Produce accurate site reports, minutes and progress updates for stakeholders.
• Apply knowledge of Public Works and FIDIC forms of contract on site and support issue resolution.
• Collaborate with contractors, client representatives and multidisciplinary teams to maintain momentum.
