Job summary

Ballygorman Construction Limited, based in Malin Head, Co. Donegal, is seeking Shuttering Carpenters for immediate start at their site in Tullyallen, Co. Louth and other sites around Ireland. Salary is €46,704.84 per year, 39 hours per week.

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Shuttering Carpenter. No formal qualifications are required; on-the-job training will be provided. Must be capable of reading blueprints and working with wood, steel and concrete.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair timber, steel and concrete structures
• Assemble and create wooden elements for buildings
• Cut, shape and fit wood components on site or at workbench
• Construct heavy-framed wooden structures on building sites
• Fit and install internal and external fixtures like walls, doors and frames
• Ensure knowledge of wood types, cuts and woodworking tools
• Interpret 2D & 3D plans and blueprints
