Job summary

Daybreak Ballyfermot is seeking a friendly, reliable Part-Time Shop Assistant to join our Dublin convenience store team in Ballyfermot. You will help customers, operate the till, restock shelves and keep the shop tidy.

Evening shifts and weekends are required. Prior retail experience is beneficial, and you will work both independently and as part of a small team in a busy store.

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Shop Assistant to join our convenience store team in Ballyfermot.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Operating the till and handling payments
• Opening and closing the store
• Restocking shelves and checking stock
• Receiving and checking deliveries
• Keeping the shop clean, tidy and well organised
• Providing excellent customer service
• Following store procedures and maintaining a safe working environment
• Working evening shifts and weekends as required

Requirements

• Previous retail or convenience store experience is beneficial and preferred
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and opening/closing shifts
• Good attention to detail and a positive attitude

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: €14.15-€15.15 per hour
