Job summary

Supermac's Clifden in Co. Galway is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the General Manager, ensuring the restaurant meets targets and runs smoothly on your shift.

You will supervise team members, deliver excellent service, lead by example, train staff on operations, coordinate in-store promotions and assist the store manager with employee relations. Weekdays and weekends availability is required, with the legal right to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• The successful candidates will have a good outgoing personality, enjoy dealing with the public and fully availability to work weekdays and weekends.
• Only candidates who currently have the legal right to work in Ireland will be considered.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Supervisor provides ongoing support to the General Manager to ensure that the restaurant meets or exceeds the targets established for their unit. The Supervisors work as a team with training coordinators and unit-level staff. The Supervisor reports to the General Manager. The General Manager gives ongoing support and development, and various management duties will be delegated as necessary. The Supervisor is fully responsible for the customers, staff, operations, and cash on his/her shift, and will be held accountable to ensure company policy is met in each area.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Fast-paced "non-stop" environment. Physically demanding at times due to certain requirements of the business with regards to the level of business, quality of staff, quantity of staff, preparedness for business demands, etc. Certain business volumes necessitate prolonged periods without sitting down.
