Job summary

Mannok Cement, Rakeelan, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan, H14 YR25, is seeking a maintenance operative to ensure the smooth operation of plant machinery at our manufacturing facility in Ballyconnell. The role involves general maintenance, repairs and cleaning to keep the plant in top condition.

You will work 12.25-hour shifts, with day, night and weekend work, and must be flexible to cover varying schedules. Prior manufacturing experience and strong communication skills are essential.

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of machinery whilst adhering to the divisions Quality and Health & Safety Standards.

The role will involve general maintenance, repair work and performing cleaning duties where necessary to maintain the upkeep of the plant.

Applicants must have previous experience in a manufacturing environment, demonstrate the ability to work in a team and on their own initiative, are flexible and have excellent communication skills.

It is essential that candidates meet the physical and demanding requirements of the role.

This role will involve 12.25-hour shifts varied with day, night and weekend work.
