Job summary

AbbVie Westport is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Contamination Control team. You will lead a team of contamination control operators responsible for sanitising cleanrooms and related areas, on a rotating days and nights shift.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to drive GMP-compliant practices, documentation and training while ensuring audit readiness and site metrics.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in science or engineering or related discipline.
• Strong technical knowledge and application of concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills essential for working across multi-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead contamination control operators on the assigned shift, ensuring activities align with production requirements and KPIs.
• Manage and develop the contamination control team through coaching and performance reviews.
• Ensure audit readiness of areas and documentation, escalate risks as needed.
• Perform sanitisation of cleanrooms and related areas; complete autoclave cycles and filter testing per procedures.
