Job summary

Job Title: Service Technician

Vanderlande seeks a Service Technician to work at the Musgrave Distribution Centre in Ireland. The role focuses on maintaining equipment to ensure productivity, output, availability, health & safety compliance, and overall quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installations are in top condition.
• Perform malfunction repairs and maintenance work.
• Carry out preventive and periodic maintenance in collaboration with colleagues.
• Resolve mechanical, electrical and control technical faults.

Physical requirements

• Extensive walking and mobility across various automation system levels, including work at heights up to 30m.
• Prolonged periods of walking and standing.
• Lifting and moving heavy objects such as motors and rollers using proper technique and safety protocols.
• Work in restrictive spaces and tight areas safely.
• Operate in environments with potentially high noise levels with appropriate PPE.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ level3 or higher in mechanical or electrical maintenance discipline.
• Experience with maintenance planning.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights.

Nice to have

• Experience within an FMCG manufacturing or automated environment.
• Experience in training or coaching.
