Electrical Maintenance Technician – Blanchardstown
Work Pattern: Onsite, 39 hours per week (07:30 to 16:00).
Responsibilities
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance program as per client requirements in a safe, efficient, and competent manner in line with cGMP and site protocols and procedures.
- Carry out work in accordance with site EHS, Veolia EHS and cGMP rules and guidelines; report any irregularities to the Maintenance & Calibration Lead or Contract Manager.
- Work according to schedule supplied by the Maintenance & Calibration Lead, Planner and site policies.
- Troubleshoot problems with utilities equipment and provide technical input during new project implementation.
- Complete site documentation before and after work tasks, as appropriate.
- Liaise with contractors during planned service maintenance.
- Participate in required training and conduct risk assessments of equipment maintenance tasks.
- Ensure maintenance of housekeeping standards and implementation of 5S methodology.
- Participate in utilities reliability programs and review WIs/SOPs to keep them current.
- Perform work on equipment in all buildings and collaborate with client utilities engineering team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Senior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent in electrical engineering.
- At least 2years of electrical experience and good understanding of fundamentals of utilities systems.
- Experience with pumps, HVAC systems, compressors, boilers, steam systems, chilled water skids, chillers, cooling towers, clean steam boilers, purified water systems, CIP systems, and low/medium voltage electrical systems.
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance systems and computerized maintenance management work‑order system.
- Experience using a documented permit‑to‑work system.
- Computer literate; ability to read and understand P&ID drawings; knowledge of SOP, GMP engineering systems and basic instrumentation.
- Methodical, analytical, and detail‑oriented approach with strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Team player with initiative and a proactive attitude.
Desirable
- Site Level1 Electrical Qualification.
- Experience with Building Management Systems (SCADA).
- Experience in wastewater treatment plant mechanical systems, PLCs, and troubleshooting/repair.
