Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a capable IT Service Desk professional to join its busy Digital Services IT Service Desk Team. The role covers first-line IT support for around 10,000 users across NHS Fife, including GPs, with opportunities for supervision of the team and effective incident handling.

The ideal candidate will have strong English communication skills, a logical problem-solving approach, and the ability to manage workload and coordinate with resolver groups.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
• Sound, logical approach to problem solving.
• Experience supervising IT support teams is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line IT support and supervise a busy IT Service Desk.
• Assist users via telephone or online portal and fix issues first time or pass to specialist groups.
• Travel between Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline occasionally and serve Fife as required.
