Job summary

Amazon in Dublin is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join the Lambda Runtimes team. You will help implement and maintain runtime components across Python, NodeJS, Java, .NET, Ruby, Go, and Rust, ensuring a scalable, secure, and developer-friendly experience for trillions of invocations.

We value deep system architecture knowledge, strong debugging skills, and collaboration with open-source communities to keep Lambda at the forefront of serverless computing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in at least two of: Java, Python, Node.js, Go, Rust.
• Deep understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Strong debugging and performance monitoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on AWS Lambda's Runtimes, owning implementation and libraries.
• Contribute to documentation and security updates for runtime components.
• Engage with upstream open-source communities to align runtimes with language advancements.
• Improve runtime operations for scalability and reliability.
