Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited in Cork seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to work on sensor-based technologies across R&D to deployment. You will collaborate with systems, software, and integration/test engineers in the QCT sensors group.

The role focuses on developing sensor algorithms in MATLAB/Python, C/C++ for fixed and floating point designs, and contributing to design documentation and product deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science or related field; minimum 2+ years Systems Engineering or related experience.
• Master's degree preferred in Electrical/Computer Engineering/Science.

Responsibilities

• Working with global systems and software teams.
• Developing sensor algorithms in high level languages (MATLAB, Python) including algorithm performance validation.
• Embedding software development in C/C++ for fixed & floating-point designs.
• Creating reports on algorithm evaluation results and delivering design documentation.
• Communicating design, results and issues to product management, systems and SW leads.
