Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited is seeking a Staff Embedded Software Engineer to join the Data Center AI Software team. You will develop low-level firmware and platform software for data center AI systems, own significant firmware features, and contribute to platform architecture.

You will remain hands-on in design, coding, testing, and issue resolution while coordinating with hardware, system software, and validation teams. Strong C/C++ skills and SoC bring-up experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 8+ years of embedded firmware or low-level system software experience.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, and Python or Bash scripting.
• Experience with SoC bring-up, drivers, boot loaders, and HW/SW integration.
• Linux-based development and/or RTOS experience.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, design, implementation, integration, and maintenance of firmware features across SoC, board, and platform levels.
• Lead technical execution in areas such as inter-processor communication, telemetry, diagnostics, logging, and virtualization.
• Drive SoC and platform bring-up activities, including hardware/software integration and validation.
• Produce high-quality C/C++ code, unit tests, and validation plans.
• Mentor engineers and drive design reviews and technical leadership.
