Job summary

Midland Engineering Profiles Limited in Longford is seeking experienced Welders to join our team. The role involves interpreting blueprints, selecting welding methods and joining metals such as steel, aluminium and stainless steel, across manufacturing and on-site projects.

You will operate arc, TIG, MIG and oxy-fuel welders, perform quality checks, and maintain equipment. A strong attention to detail and a willingness to work 39 hours per week are essential. The annual salary is €36,605.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of or experience with TIG, MIG, arc and oxy-fuel welding.
• Technical welding qualifications are an advantage.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical and Food & Beverage industries beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine welding methods.
• Operate welding equipment (arc, TIG, MIG) to join metals.
• Inspect welded surfaces for integrity and quality.
• Perform maintenance on welding equipment.
