Job summary

microTECH Global Limited in Cork, Ireland seeks a Senior Staff Verification Engineer to lead end-to-end verification strategy for advanced semiconductor products, with a hybrid working model.

The role covers verification architecture from requirements to silicon, HW/SW integration, and mentoring engineers, with opportunities to shape methodology and product quality across the full life cycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of ASIC/SoC verification experience.
• Degree, Masters or PhD in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Strong SystemVerilog/Verilog/UVM or OVM experience.
• Experience with Verilog-A/MS.
• Full-product verification across HW, FW and SW.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 and automotive IC verification.
• Experience verifying embedded processor systems.
• Power conversion/power electronics familiarity.
• Cadence EDA tools experience.
• Excellent verification planning, coverage and testbench development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end verification architectures for advanced power products.
• Design and specify testbenches and verification IP.
• Build scalable verification environments using modern methodologies.
• Develop full-system verification plans and drive coverage and verification closure.
• Support verification across HW, FW and SW.
• Contribute to CI, automation and verification methodology improvements.
• Collaborate with design, test, product engineering and operations teams.
• Mentor less experienced verification engineers.
• Contribute to silicon support, ATE data reviews and product/yield analysis.
