Job summary

Accenture's The Dock in Dublin is seeking a Senior UX Designer (Associate Manager) to collaborate with product teams, researchers, engineers and stakeholders to design intuitive, human-centred digital experiences across the product lifecycle. You’ll apply user-centred design from discovery through interaction design, prototyping and implementation.

You will work within multidisciplinary teams, exploring emerging technologies including AI-enabled products, while ensuring accessibility, usability

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years in UX Design, Product Design, Interaction Design or Digital Product Design.
  • Proven experience delivering digital products from discovery through implementation.
  • Strong portfolio showing user-centred design thinking, interaction and visual design.
  • Proficiency in Figma and prototyping workflows.
  • Experience conducting or supporting user research and translating findings into design outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of human-centred design, IA, usability and accessibility.
  • Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Client-focused mindset with commitment to measurable user and business value.

The Role

As a Senior UX Designer, you will work closely with product teams, researchers, engineers, data scientists and stakeholders to design intuitive, human-centred digital products and services. You'll contribute across the product development lifecycle, transforming insights into meaningful experiences that solve real user and business problems.

You'll apply user-centred design principles from discovery and concept development through to interaction design, prototyping and implementation. Working within multidisciplinary teams, you'll help shape innovative digital experiences while exploring the potential of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled products and services.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Design end-to-end user experiences, from understanding user and business needs through to creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes and high-fidelity interfaces.

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, data scientists and stakeholders to define, validate and deliver impactful product solutions.

  • Conduct and support user research, synthesise insights and translate findings into concepts, prototypes and design recommendations.

  • Facilitate workshops, ideation sessions and design reviews, clearly communicating design rationale and incorporating feedback.

  • Partner with development teams to ensure quality implementation and consistency across delivered experiences.

  • Explore innovative applications of emerging technologies, including Generative AI, while championing accessibility, usability and inclusive design principles.

  • Contribute to the wider design practice through knowledge sharing, collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Experience & Skills
  • Demonstrated experience in UX Design, Product Design, Interaction Design or Digital Product Design (typically 5-7+ years).

  • Proven experience designing and delivering digital products and services from discovery through to implementation.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design thinking, interaction design, visual design and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Proficiency in Figma and experience using prototyping, collaboration and design tooling effectively.

  • Experience conducting or supporting user research and translating findings into actionable design outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of human-centred design, interaction design, information architecture, usability and accessibility principles.

  • Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication, storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality design outcomes.

  • Client-focused mindset with a commitment to creating measurable user and business value.

Nice to Have
  • Experience designing products and services across multiple platforms and channels.

  • Familiarity with service design methodologies and adjacent disciplines such as content design and visual design.

  • Experience working with AI-powered products, workflows or emerging technologies.

  • Curiosity for experimentation and innovation in areas such as Generative AI, conversational interfaces, voice experiences or mixed reality.

  • Experience creating and validating concepts through rapid prototyping and testing.
