Job summary

ESB Dublin Station Manager role leading the operation and maintenance of a large generating station. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and delivery of generation targets while guiding workforce capability and long-term asset health.

The post is based in Dublin and forms part of a broader Dublin Station leadership team. Senior management will drive revenue streams and deliver strong financial outcomes through stretch targets, collaboration and inclusive leadership across ESB

Qualifications

• Track record of effective management of safety and safety culture.
• Experience in power plant operations, maintenance, technology, systems and procedures.
• Proven leadership of large multidisciplinary teams with strong communication.
• Strong commercial, regulatory and stakeholder management capability.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for operation and maintenance of a large generating station.
• Lead station teams and ensure safety standards with strong safety culture.
• Develop and deliver key business goals with budget accountability and governance.
• Ensure operating effectiveness for plant performance: availability, efficiency and reliability.
• Drive technical and operational improvements and ensure environmental obligations are met.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, Engineering & Major Projects on outages and emergency response.
