Job summary

NLB Services in Ireland seeks a seasoned Business Analyst to drive requirements discovery, analyse data, and map processes in regulatory change programmes for banking clients.

You will translate complex regulatory needs into delivery-ready specs, collaborate with architects and engineering teams, and support tests, data mapping, and benefits realisation.

Qualifications

• Understand problem statements, define scope, and identify business outcomes.
• Document current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) processes and operating models.
• Perform process analysis and identify opportunities for digitization, automation, simplification, and efficiency.
• Develop business cases, impact assessments, and cost–benefit analyses to support transformation.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.
• Ensure traceability between business requirements, specs, testing, and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Support solution design workshops and ensure requirements are reflected in designs.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release management.
• Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
• Assist with data analysis, mapping, migration requirements, and reconciliations.
• Ensure traceability from requirements to testing and implementation.

Product & Change Management

• Work closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to define and prioritize product roadmaps.
• Create and manage epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria within Agile delivery environments.
• Support organizational change management, stakeholder communication, and business readiness activities.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and facilitate decision-making across business and technology teams.
• Contribute to a metrics-driven culture through KPI definition, tracking, and benefits realization reporting.
