Job summary

Stryker Macroom is seeking a maintenance engineer for an evening shift on a permanent contract. You will maintain production equipment, electrical and PLC systems, with CMMS documentation and lean problem solving.

The role requires 3+ years in a similar role, ideally in a large site, with strong communication across levels and experience in cGMP environments. CMMS experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a similar maintenance role in a large site.
• Experience with production equipment maintenance incl PLCs, HVAC, BMS.
• Strong communication and teamwork across levels.

Responsibilities

• Build compliance into all work by conforming to Health & Safety and Quality System requirements.
• Carry out maintenance on production equipment, electrical, pneumatic systems, PLCs, BMS, HVAC and access controls.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise and use CMMS to record activities.
• Perform break down analysis (BDA) on faulty equipment and record in CMMS.
• Support Daily Management and lean problem solving for continuous improvement.
• Maintain site standards on cGMP.

What you will do:

• Build compliance into all aspects of their work by maintaining conformity to all Health & Safety and Quality System requirements.
• Maintenance activities on our production equipment, electrical, pneumatic, PLCs, BMS, HVAC, Access Controls.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise.
• Use the CMMS system to record scheduled and unscheduled maintenance Perform Break Down Analysis (BDA) on faulty equipment and record in the CMMS Support the Daily Management system and using lean tools for problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Maintain site standards on cGMP.

What you will need:

• Level 7/8 Degree in Engineering is desirable.
• CNC experience is an advantage (Mazak/DMG)
• Technical skills: Effective communication skills and Interaction with other people at all levels of the organisation will be critical to this position.
• Industrial services related experience is a distinct advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a large company or with a related service provider to industry

Ireland Pay Ranges:

• Ireland: €38,000 - €64,000 EUR Annual
