Job summary

MSD in Dublin is seeking a Senior Specialist, Technical Project Manager to lead digital and automation initiatives across major capital projects in the region. You will coordinate IT and OT deliverables, align with sponsors and engineering teams, and drive compliant, efficient project execution.

Hybrid work is offered; travel up to 20% to mainland Europe; the role requires deep manufacturing and regulatory experience across GxP environments and validated systems.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• 8+ years of progressive engineering experience in high-volume process manufacturing.
• GxP experience with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EudraLex Annex 11, and CSV.
• Proficiency with Level 1–3 automation systems (DCS/SCADA/MES).
• Project management experience in capital or digital plant initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Digital Projects: Manage and drive automation and IT deliverables for capital projects.
• Collaborate on Solution Design: Partner with sponsors and engineering teams to define scopes.
• Support Project Resource Planning: Guide staffing plans and day-to-day execution.
• Adhere to Best Practices: Follow SDLC, validation, and regulatory standards.
• Identify Project Efficiencies: Find ways to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
• Engage with Stakeholders: Keep steering teams informed on progress and risks.
