Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Lead, Technical Program Manager to drive cross-functional, high-impact programs spanning multiple teams. The role emphasizes coordination, governance, and proactive dependency management, with a focus on agentic AI and LLM-powered workflows.

The candidate will partner with engineering, product, design and data teams, delivering scalable programs with strong executive reporting and rigorous validation approaches. This is a full-time position based in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Significant experience leading large, complex cross-functional technical programs.
• Strong program management skills including planning, execution tracking, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Experience with AI-driven systems including agentic applications and large language models.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum in complex product or platform environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of complex technical programs across multiple teams and functions.
• Drive coordination across engineering, product, design, data, operations, and other partner teams to ensure alignment on goals, scope, milestones, and deliverables.
• Identify, track, and manage cross-team dependencies, risks, issues, and decision points to maintain momentum.
• Establish governance, operating rhythms, status reporting, and escalation mechanisms for large-scale programs.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide concise updates on progress, risks, and decisions.
• Create and maintain program roadmaps, integrated delivery plans, milestones, and success metrics.
