AECOM is seeking a Senior Technical Director – Multi-Disciplinary Design to provide strategic and commercial leadership across our design business in Ireland. The role can be based in Dublin, Belfast, Cork, or Galway and requires strong commercial acumen and proven leadership of large, complex programmes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related technical discipline.
• Senior-level experience within the built environment or multidisciplinary consultancy.
• Proven track record leading large, multidisciplinary teams and complex programs.
• Experience leading major bids, strategic pursuits, proposals, and client presentations.

Responsabilités

• Provide senior leadership for multidisciplinary design teams and major projects across the region.
• Establish and execute strategic plans to support the growth of AECOM’s design business and market position.
• Hold accountability for budget, revenue, utilisation, profitability, and financial performance within the assigned portfolio or business area.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, partners, and industry leaders.
• Identify, develop, and convert strategic business opportunities, supporting sustainable revenue growth.
• Lead major pursuits, capture strategies, bids, and client presentations, working with sector and business line leadership.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities aligned with AECOM’s objectives.
• Provide executive-level oversight of project delivery, ensuring projects meet safety, schedule, budget, scope, quality, and client expectations.
• Provide strategic oversight of multidisciplinary design integration across civil, structural, architectural, MEP, environmental, and specialist disciplines.
