Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Director – Multi-Disciplinary Design to provide strategic, technical, operational, and commercial leadership across our design business in Ireland. The role can be based in Dublin, Belfast, Cork, or Galway.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and revenue, develop senior client relationships, and drive innovation with BIM, digital engineering, automation and AI to deliver integrated solutions for complex projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
Significant senior-level experience within the built environment or multidisciplinary consultancy.
Proven track record leading large, multidisciplinary teams and complex programmes.

Responsibilities

Provide senior leadership for multidisciplinary design teams and major projects across the region.
Establish and execute strategic plans to grow the design business and market position.
Hold accountability for budget, revenue, profitability, and financial performance.
Develop and maintain senior client relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
Lead major bids, strategic pursuits, and client presentations.
