Job summary

Primark Stores Limited is seeking a Transfer Pricing Senior Manager to shape and lead the Group's transfer pricing strategy, governance and compliance as the business expands across Europe, the Middle East and the US. You will partner with executives, manage external advisors, and ensure robust global TP policies and documentation.

The role requires 8-10+ years post-qualification experience and strong communication with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Qualified tax professional with 8-10+ years' post-qualified experience and significant transfer pricing expertise gained within practice, industry, or a combination of both.
• Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders.
• Experience engaging with tax authorities and managing external advisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of Primark's transfer pricing strategy and governance framework.
• Partner with Head of Tax on tax authority engagements, including APAs, MAPs, audits and enquiries.
• Manage relationships with external advisors and oversee budgets for transfer pricing matters.
• Own global transfer pricing compliance and reporting across all jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Commercial and Legal teams to embed transfer pricing in strategic initiatives.

This is an exciting time to join Primark. As we prepare to become a standalone listed company and continue our ambitious international expansion, the Transfer Pricing Senior Manager will play a key role in shaping and leading the Group's transfer pricing strategy, governance and compliance agenda.

• Lead the development and execution of Primark's transfer pricing strategy, ensuring alignment with policy, commercial objectives and global best practice methodologies.
• Partner with the Head of Tax, on tax authority engagements, including APAs, MAPs, audits and enquiries, driving efficient resolution and favourable outcomes.
• Manage relationships with external advisors on transfer pricing matters, overseeing quality delivery and associated budgets.
• Own the global transfer pricing compliance and reporting framework, ensuring timely and accurate compliance across all operating jurisdictions.
• Maintain robust transfer pricing policies, intercompany agreements, documentation and governance frameworks that support business and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Commercial and Legal teams to embed transfer pricing considerations into material transactions, contracts and strategic initiatives.

• Qualified tax professional with 8-10+ years' post-qualified experience and significant transfer pricing expertise gained within practice, industry, or a combination of both; multinational experience is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands, manage multiple stakeholders and consistently deliver high-quality outputs to agreed deadlines.
• Commercially minded with excellent analytical capabilities, including the ability to interpret complex data, identify key risks and opportunities, and translate insights into practical business solutions.
• Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to engage senior stakeholders, present complex concepts clearly and build trusted partnerships across all levels of the organisation.
