Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Applications Engineer for Smart Grid Solutions. You will bridge customer needs with ADI technologies, working across hardware and software to define requirements, develop proofs-of-concept, and support deployments.

You will interact with customers, partners, and engineering teams to enable grid sensing, instrumentation, and analytics solutions, contributing across the product lifecycle from early engagements to production support.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years in Systems/Applications engineering or similar.
• Strong hardware background with experience in system design, instrumentation, sensing, embedded systems, or power electronics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote system-level solutions for electrical grid and energy applications.
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and deployment constraints.
• Translate requirements into system architectures using ADI hardware and software.
• Prototype, evaluate, and troubleshoot hardware platforms for demos and evaluations.
• Support integration of ADI software platforms, embedded systems, and analytics in customer environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify gaps and drive roadmaps.
• Perform system validation and testing against requirements and standards.
• Create documentation, reference designs, and demonstration systems.
