Job summary

Fidelity Investments Ireland seeks a Senior Systems Analyst to join Equity Trading Technology on a common trading platform used across multiple asset classes within Asset Management. You will analyze both current and new business and technical processes, identify system interfaces and dependencies, and translate business functions into clear technical specifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Finance or a related field.
4+ years of experience in business-critical applications, with a strong advantage for Asset Management/investment professional tools.
Solid understanding of financial industry, including equity and credit markets.
Analytical mindset capable of assessing magnitude and impact at a granular level, down to individual user stories.
Proficient in service-based architectures, SQL, and API design and validation.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle).
Data-driven decision-making with ability to measure and leverage data while balancing intuition.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to drive outcomes.
Expertise in defining test cases with detailed acceptance criteria.
Knowledge of AWS and cloud migration concepts.
Ability to navigate ambiguity with flexibility.
