Job summary

TLI Group in Dublin is seeking aSenior Substation Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering Team. The role focuses on major Power, Renewable & Substation projects, taking responsibility for electrical design, technical decisions, and ensuring outputs meet safety and quality standards.

The successful candidate will mentor engineers, coordinate design deliverables across primary and secondary systems, review submissions, and support business development with clients.

Qualifications

• Honours Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical substation design including primary and secondary design.
• Review and approve team submissions and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Ensure designs meet programme, standards and safety requirements.
• Mentor team members and support tender submissions.
• Coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary design teams throughout project lifecycle.
