Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Water Services team in Ireland. You will lead structural design for water and wastewater infrastructure, from feasibility through detailed design and construction support, balancing technical excellence with project management.

The role requires Chartered status or near chartership, 8–10 years in structural engineering, and strong collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions for Uisce Éireann

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).
• Chartered Engineer status or near chartership (desirable).
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant structural engineering experience, especially in water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from feasibility to detailed design.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, reports, drawings, and tender docs.
• Coordinate interfaces with civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and geotechnical teams.
