Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience as a Structural Engineer in Consultancy.
• Experience in design of reinforced concrete for heavy civil infrastructure.
• Chartered or close to Chartership.

Job description

Senior Structural Engineer with 10+ years’ experience required to join specialized Civil/Structural & Marine engineering consultancy in their Office in Naas. This consultancy delivers bespoke solutions for projects in live ports, exposed coastal environments and urban waterways. This is an excellent opportunity for a project manager to progress and take on an interesting challenge. The successful Senior Structural Engineer would ideally have Multidisciplinary Engineering Design experience. This consultancy is quickly progressing in the marine sector and has an excellent pipeline of work for the future. They encourage employees to explore interests in technology and equipment such as using drones, underwater drones, and new software.

Requirements

• Level 8 or Level 9 Degree in Structural Engineering
• 10+ years’ experience working as a Structural Engineer in Consultancy having achieved the position of Senior Structural Engineer.
• Must have experience in the design of reinforced concrete for heavy civil infrastructure to Eurocodes.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and materials including concrete and steel.
• Experience preparing and delivering technical reports.
• Liaising with clients and stakeholders.
• Chartered or close to Chartership.
