Job summary

Salesforce, via Fin, is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Scientist in Dublin, Ireland. You will define new ML features, research algorithms, and rapidly prototype in collaboration with product and design teams.

You will mentor engineers and lead technical standards while shipping high-impact ML solutions across customer journeys. Ideal candidates have 5-8 years of applied ML experience, advanced degrees in ML, and a proven track record leading ML initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Play an active role in hiring, mentoring and career development of other engineers.
• Raise the bar for technical standards, performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Identify areas where ML can create value for our customers.
• Identify the right ML framing of product problems and collaborate with Product/Design.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and research to deeply understand problems.
• Research and select appropriate algorithms and tools; balance pragmatism with cutting-edge innovation.
• Work with engineers to bring prototypes to production.
• Plan, measure and socialize learnings to inform iteration.
• Partner with the team to build excellent ML products.
