Job summary

Presidio is seeking a Senior Site Reliability and DevOps Engineer for a permanent role in Dublin. You will improve the reliability, scalability and performance of enterprise services across Azure and hybrid environments through automation, observability, and infrastructure as code.

You will collaborate with cloud, platform and app teams, lead engineering workstreams, and mentor engineers to establish standards that ensure scalable service ownership and robust incident management.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise DevOps and cloud-native engineering experience in Azure and hybrid environments.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code across multiple platforms.
• Strong communication and leadership to guide projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical customer discovery and translate business needs into practical DevOps and reliability solutions.
• Own solution designs across CI/CD, IaC, cloud platforms, observability, security and support.
• Lead technical workstreams, mentor engineers and set engineering standards for sustainable service ownership.
• Act as senior escalation point for platform, deployment, automation and reliability issues, identifying root causes.
• Transition projects into managed services with documentation, monitoring, and security controls.
• Collaborate with architecture, projects, security and operations to align delivery and ongoing support.
• Standardise pipelines, templates and infrastructure modules to reduce manual work.
• Facilitate customer workshops and design reviews, detailing trade-offs and risks.
• Use service data and incident trends to prioritise reliability improvements.
• Support estimates, proposals and technical responses to build customer confidence.
• Focus on outcomes: maintainable solutions, fewer incidents, reusable engineering standards.
