Job summary

Senior Sourcing Specialist position in Cork, Ireland on an initial 12-month contract within the Life Sciences sector. The role concentrates on capital-project procurement and scaling manufacturing capabilities through advanced automation and infrastructure upgrades.

You will own the Project Sourcing Plan, lead end-to-end sourcing from strategy through award, and advise on risk, cost and delivery strategies across traditional, design-build, and construction management approaches.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Law or a related discipline.
• Extensive capital-project procurement or sourcing experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, life-sciences or another highly regulated environment preferred.
• Ability to own and drive a Project Sourcing Plan across multiple work packages with limited day-to-day supervision.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the Project Sourcing Plan (PSP) with defined routes, bidders, governance, owners, budgets and milestones.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing for capital work packages from strategy to purchase order.
• Plan and prioritise across multiple work packages and provide clear recommendations.
• Advise on procurement strategies and commercial implications under various delivery models.
