Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland is recruiting a Senior Solutions Architect for a Dublin City Centre client on a 6-month daily rate contract with a hybrid working model.

You will own end-to-end solution architecture, lead integration design across APIs, microservices and data platforms, and collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to produce artefacts and governance-ready designs.

Qualifications

• 7–8+ years in Solution Architecture or related role.
• Strong application and integration architecture experience in enterprise environments.
• Expertise across APIs, microservices, messaging/MQ, event-driven solutions and file-based integrations.
• Proven ability to design end-to-end solutions across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture with emphasis on App and Integration Architecture.
• Shape application architecture across customer channels, operational systems, core platforms and enterprise services.
• Lead integration design across APIs, microservices, event-driven services, messaging/MQ, batch and secure file transfers.
• Define scalable, resilient and secure patterns aligned with enterprise standards.
• Produce architecture artefacts and provide technical direction to engineering and delivery teams.
• Present designs through governance forums and work with EA, engineering and business stakeholders.
• Translate architecture into implementable solutions aligned with security, regulatory and operational resilience.
• Define data migration, quality and cleansing approaches for platform implementations.
• Collaborate across integration, data, security, development, test and release teams; manage architectural risks and dependencies.

• Shape application architecture across customer channels, operational systems, core platforms and enterprise services.
• Lead integration design across APIs, microservices, event-driven services, messaging/MQ, batch and secure file-transfer solutions.
• Define scalable, resilient and secure application and integration patterns aligned with enterprise standards.
• Produce architecture and solution design artefacts and provide technical direction to engineering and delivery teams.
• Present designs through architecture governance forums and work with enterprise architecture, engineering and business stakeholders.
• Translate architecture into implementable solutions aligned with security, regulatory and operational resilience requirements.
• Define data migration, quality and cleansing approaches for platform implementations.
• Collaborate across integration, data, security, development, test and release teams, managing architectural risks, dependencies and technical debt.

Experience / Background

• 7–8+ years’ experience in Solution Architecture, Solution Design or a related architecture role.
• Strong Application Architecture experience within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong Integration Architecture expertise across APIs, microservices, messaging/MQ, event-driven solutions and file-based integrations.
• Proven experience designing end-to-end solutions spanning multiple applications, platforms and integration points.
• Experience defining and applying application and integration architecture principles, patterns and standards.
• Experience across customer-facing channels, operational systems, core platforms and enterprise data services.
• Experience integrating legacy technology estates with modern cloud-based platforms.
• Familiarity with architecture governance, design assurance, information security and service transition processes would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of Corporate and Retail FX products would be useful.
• Knowledge of Capital Markets environments would be useful.
• Experience with enterprise banking, transaction banking or capital markets technology platforms would be advantageous.
