Job summary

Bloomberg Vault is building a next generation platform for secure, compliant communications data, spanning high-throughput storage, low-latency search, and real-time surveillance. We are also advancing a spec-driven, AI-assisted software development model to provide structured inputs for implementation and verification.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience evaluating AI-generated code for correctness and security.
• Strong fundamentals in system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and observability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and operate high-quality software across different parts of the technology stack.
• Independently own complex features from design through implementation and production deployment.
• Participate in design and code reviews and contribute to engineering standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and partner teams.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and contribute to the team's growth.
