Twilio Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Commerce Platform Team. This role focuses on the billing lifecycle and payment experience, building core services that scale for Twilio's customers.

You will work on the control plane, billing experience, and account lifecycle management using AWS, Kafka, and REST APIs. You will design, implement, and operate new features and services, collaborate with Product teams, and contribute to high-availability architecture while delivering

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of work experience building highly scalable products.
• 5+ years of programming experience in an object-oriented language (Java or similar).
• Expert knowledge in Object-Oriented Programming with a successful track record.
• Experience contributing to architecture and design of new and current systems.
• Experience working with Product teams to understand requirements and define technical work.
• Experience working with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience delivering high levels of observability with Grafana/DataDog/Prometheus.

• Design, implement, and operate features on current services as well as new services.
