Job summary

Archer Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking a senior .NET developer for a global investment firm in Dublin. The role is a 6‑month initial contract with a hybrid setup (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

You will redevelop legacy platforms, modernize code, and build new systems using C#/.NET with SQL and Python as needed. You’ll collaborate with users to shape architecture, tackle trading, risk and payments domains, and deliver robust backend services and desktop/UI integrations.

This is a senior .NET role with no backlog to inherit and no single product to maintain. A growing technology function needs an experienced developer who will sit down with the people who use the software, understand what they need and decide how best to deliver it. Your judgement will shape what the business relies on tomorrow.

You will work hands-on with C# and .NET, backed by SQL and Python where relevant, to redevelop legacy platforms, modernize established codebases and build new systems. The work spans backend services, desktop/UI applications and system integrations across trading, risk, research, payments and investment operations.
