Liberty IT is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on cutting edge GenAI and AgenticAI solutions, combining innovation with production cloud engineering. You’ll deliver high‑quality software in a fast‑paced environment where ambiguity is expected and creative problem solving is required.

With support from senior engineers, you’ll contribute to architecture, write clean code, own deliverables, mentor junior teammates, and collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams to maximise

Qualifications

• TypeScript and AWS exposure.
• Genai exposure/inate interest in ai.
• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or STEM with 3 years’ software development, or 5 years’ experience with certifications.
• Experience delivering software as part of an Agile team.
• Experience working with Product Owners, customers, end-users, or stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex business problems by delivering high-quality software.
• Contribute to architecture or design with senior team members.
• Write clean, standards-compliant code and improve coding practices.
• Own and deliver defined stories and communicate progress at stand-ups.
• Mentor junior team members to deliver features or components.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to maximise customer value.
• Implement testing, security practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Grow knowledge of architecture and modern engineering principles.
• Share learnings via internal talks or external events.
